This piece is designed to be used with a Traxxas or RPM bumper or wheelie bar mount, if you are not using either of these you can use the provided spacer to fill the gap. Additionally, this fan mount is designed for non-272R transmissions, the new C10 Drag Slash with 272R gearbox will require this fan mount: ebay.com/itm/334090956594
